The Confucius Institute in Indianapolis successfully held its 4th Summer Camp in China

The Confucius Institute in Indianapolis successfully held its 4th Summer Camp in China. This year, 16 IUPUI students and and one IUPUI professors enrolled into the Summer Camp program. From May 14 to June 3, they took short courses on Chinese language and Chinese culture in the School of Chinese as Second Languange at Sun Yat-sen University. From June 5 to June 11, they visit Xi'an and Beijing, two historical cities in China. Due to the agreetment signed by SYSU and IUPUI. The camp members can get 4 IUPUI credit hours from the Summer Camp. This program is generously supported by Hanban. The camp members had an unfogettable time in China. Some of them will continue to study Chinese in the Confucius Institute in Indianapolis. And several students said that they will apply to study Chinese at Sun Yat-sen University and come back to China in the future.
